Hey everyone, welcome to a good football show. I am Matt Straup. It is Thursday, June 2nd

and today on the show we are going to be conducting a live basketball draft. I'm joined

by Pat Karein, Kyle Duborchek, and the test subject in this experiment, Pat D'Arty,

a non-early drafter who will, in fact, be drafting early this afternoon. Just for a little

background, Pat, you proposed this idea to me earlier today, and then you immediately thought,

wait a second, maybe this is a bad idea, which I think we all agree, and I think Kyle

set off line. That makes it a great idea.

Yeah, I mean, I didn't want to actually embarrass myself. I want to do, like, appear like

I was in on the fun, you know, like, kind of embarrassing myself. I was like, well, what

have I actually embarrassed myself? And we were just like, yes, I know. Best ball is

just when you take the best players, you know, pay any attention to ADP, you don't pay any

attention to game theory, you don't pay any attention to stacking, you don't pay any

attention to schedule, things of that nature. You just take the best players, so I'm ready.

Yeah, it'd be chess if we were trying to like you strategy and stuff. Yeah, I don't

have to play chess.

Don't expect much strategy for me, just to be honest.

If you know chess, I'm sure that probably doesn't even help you in this, you know.

I do know chess. I know how to, that I will soon be losing to my six year old daughter.

So you don't know chess. You started, you know, I mean, kids, kids while being so dumb

are just so smart too. Can we show everything?

Can we change the screen share to just a chess, an online chess game? I think there are

friends of chess that still exist. Yeah, we got to hear about this. Friends of chess.
