Welcome to another edition of Heritage Explains Live.

The Olympics are here once again, but this year in Beijing, there is kind of a cloud over

these games. Today, we are building out our coverage of the Winter Olympics being hosted by

Communist China, a nation controlled by the Chinese Communist Party, sticking up and continuing, just stacking

up grave human rights abuses after human rights abuses, genocide against the Uighur Muslims,

as it's been called, oppression of people of other faiths, and of course, what about the

coronavirus cover up?

So there is so much happening right now, and it leads us to this question, Dr. Roberts, why does China get the honor of hosting the Olympic Games? And of course, as we're going to talk about, well, how is the Biden administration dealt with this and how should they have dealt with this in holding China accountable?
