So you may have heard some of our previous episodes we've done on Apollo 8,

the first mission where humans went to the moon.

And we're going back, this time on Orion,

NASA's new deep space human-rated vehicle.

Today we're talking about how Orion

will keep the crew inside comfortable and more importantly alive and

reliably too.

We sort of take for granted that we can walk outside and breathe fresh air in a nice pressurized

atmosphere.

That all has to be created in space and sustained too.

And it can be hard.

Every time you exhale, you let it some carbon dioxide

and that can have an effect on the environment

in space over time.
