How's it going, babes? Happy Friday. It's December. Are we loving it? Chillie outside? I am. I went to dinner last night with my friends Tina and Val, both of whom have been on the podcast, of course.

Tina from our notorious Hollywood tragedies episode and Val, the iconic star of interview with a former Jehovah's Witness. Love them both so much. Love the holidays and excuse to get together with friends that we don't get to see all the time.

Everyone's so busy running around in their lives. But I was standing outside last night as a god. It's so cold. I haven't really been outside that much. I am getting over unnarly cold that wrecked me for the past week.

Finally feeling normal. You can probably still hear it a little bit in my throat as I'm sorry for being a human. I get sick too.

Which isn't very fun when your whole job is to talk all the time. On Tuesday, we released the first episode of QSembur, which I'm so excited for. Cannot wait for the next one. Also, how great was Sean?

He's just so nice. I was laughing because two different people messaged me the day that episode went out and they were like, he sounds really cute or one worse. It's like, Sean sounds hot. Am I toxic for thinking that? I was like, no, I love it.

I also got a few messages from you guys with your own personal stories of QMOMS and those I don't think were to share on the show. But it makes me so happy when I do an interview and it resonates. I saw that a lot with the Jehovah's Witness episode.

Just talking about religious trauma, the past couple months. I don't know. It's very cool. And I love hearing your guys' stories. So please always feel free to send them.

The post that I made for the QMOMS episode definitely got shadow banned on Instagram. I think because it mentioned QAnon, which I guess is probably a good thing because nobody commented anything rude.

Except for one guy who actually took the time to email me because Sean and I said like a lot in that episode. I'm like, oh well, it's California. Okay, that's my California vernacular. Deal with it.

I started feeling better though. Madison came over. We went to the Christmas tree lot. And you guys, I got the best tree in the world. Love it. She's a real beaut. I'll try and take a picture of it once I decorate it because we haven't gotten there yet. But my God, how do people get Christmas trees to stand up straight?

I was sweating. I put everything into trying to get that damn tree to stand up straight. And it was difficult. I think it's all right now. But there was like a few times where it fell over. And Haltog was looking like, first of all, why is there a fucking tree in the house right now? And why is it falling over? But you know what? It's all for her anyways.

I'm sure you guys have Haltog, the winter wonderland that she deserves. Curious to know though, because this has come up in conversation several times this past week or week or two. If you live by yourself and are not hosting Christmas, do you still decorate?

I mean, of course, that you celebrate Christmas or I mean, decorate for the holidays in general, I guess, because somebody made a remark to me and I don't think they were being ill-willed with what they said. But essentially they were like, says, or why do you decorate? What's the point, I guess? Because I'm just alone, I don't know.

I just always have. I love Christmas. I mean, my house was always decorated growing up and I feel like ever since I moved out when I was like 18 or whatever, I've always decorated at least a little bit. And I think it's great. I do it for me. Okay. Me and Haltog, she has her stalking. She's passed out right now because we just went on a long walk anyway. Moving on. I feel like I had something. Oh, the fucking, can we talk about the true crime news of the week?

My inbox was flooded. I don't think we ever covered this story, but they finally identified the victim from the boy in the box saga, which is incredible. 65 years later, the child known as Boy in the Box was identified as Joseph Augustus Zarelli, according to the Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw. They gave a press conference this morning.

The story itself is heartbreaking, which is probably part of the reason that we've never did an episode on it. I mean, they're all heartbreaking, but this was just like really, really sad.

Joseph was only four years old when his body was found back in February of 1957. There were hundreds of leads, but the police were never able to identify the remains properly that is until a recent breakthrough thanks to DNA advancements.

And I think like a little over 10 years ago, they actually exhumed the remains to try and do DNA testing. I mean, even then, they weren't able to get anything, but they did.
