I think it's news this week, the watcher came out on Netflix and I watched the first episode last night, two words, Jennifer Coolidge. That's it. That's all you need to know. Because if her name is ever attached to any project, I'm watching it. I mean, come on. I cannot wait for the next season of White Lotus because it has been far too long. That show was incredible and I almost forgot about it because I feel like it was during the quarantine blur that happened where all these shows were coming out.

And there was nothing to do so we just watched them. I liked the first episode. I liked the way it shot. I liked the visuals on it. When the daughter was reading, well, kind of spoiler alert, but not really. The daughter reads the letter that the watcher wrote the family. And I could fully remember it. I was like reciting it with her because if you recall, I covered the watcher house story. I believe last year, maybe towards the end of 2021, such a wild story. Excited to see how the rest of the season plays out.

In other news, the patient, which you guys know, Big Fan is getting wild. I watched the newest episode last night. In every single time the credits come on, I'm like, God damn it. Another cliffhanger.

Like with the screen will go black for a second. And I'm like, please don't be over. Please don't be over. And I'm like, fuck. I cannot stop watching it. It's been a while since a show had me waiting eagerly for the next episode. I won't spoil it. But I need to just put it out there.

I need it to end the way that I want it to end. I need Steve Carell to fuck shit up in this show. Like that it needs to happen. I'm gonna lose my mind if it doesn't. What else?

We had the Winchester episode come out this week. Thanks for the nice response to it. It always surprises me what episodes get more of a response than other ones. It did make me want to go to other historical places and record shows about them. And that's something I've thought about for a long time.

Like I think it'd be really fun if I went to places like the Winchester mansion. Wherever. I mean in the US probably because that's more accessible. And recorded some episodes from these places. I mean not the actual places. But I want to go see them. And then maybe record an episode while I'm there.

So if you guys have any suggestions of places that you can think of that are like these historically said to be haunted places. I really like looking into the backstory of them. So let me know because listen. Hotdog and I were home a lot. We'll pack our bags. We'll hit the road. Hotdog. You want to go on a road trip? She's looking at me. I shouldn't have said that because now she thinks we're going somewhere after this.

But yeah, I mean I like having that firsthand experience of going somewhere was cool because going to the Winchester house. I feel like there was like certain nuggets of information that I would have only found out how I actually gone there and experienced it for myself. I'm going actually to Vermont in Salem at the end of this month with my sister. So who knows what stories I'll learn about while I'm there. If any of you Colt babes in Vermont or the Salem area have any recommendations, please send them in.

We've got it pretty planned out but love a suggestion. My sister was actually just here. We went to a show together. I'm loving the fact that so many of my favorite bands have started touring again. In the past month, I have seen dashboard confessional, my chemical romance, taking back Sunday. Twice, I've seen them just fully reliving my teenage years and it's the best. Just the best time of year to be honest. All the Halloween things are happening. Madison and I went to the haunted hay ride with some friends. And it was a lot of fun.

I also did not scary farm and then this weekend Madison and I are going to Hollywood or nights at Universal with some of our friends. And I cannot wait because that's always my favorite one. And Madison hasn't been able to go in a few years. So it's going to be a good time. Speaking of Madison, I have to tell you guys this story. So it's not about the haunted hay ride. But that night we were together till like, I don't know, 2 a.m. we didn't get home. And then the next day I wake up and last minute I decided to get a ticket to taking back some of my favorite ones.

I went to taking back Sunday. They were playing a show at Papi and Harriet in the desert, which is like my favorite venue ever. And I happen to know that Madison and her husband were staying at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, which is like 40 minutes from the venue. And I knew I wouldn't want to drive back home after the show that night. So I booked a room at the Ace and I did not tell Madison.

I just showed up and FaceTimed her in the parking lot like 20 times. She wasn't answering and I was like, it's going to be so awkward if I just run, I mean, she's my best run. But I like it's going to be awkward if she just sees me. I need her to answer her phone. So she eventually FaceTimed me back. And I went into the parking lot and stood next to her car because I parked next to her. She's like, girly, she's like, where are you right now?

I was like, you thought you could get rid of me. You thought you could go away for a nice weekend with your husband. Well, surprise. I'm here too. And it was really funny when she realized it. It took her a second. But we actually got to hang out. And it was fun. And then I went to the show that night with some friends and then spent the next morning with Madison and her husband in the pool. It was just the best. But now I'm home. It's finally cooling down here. It's been in the 70s. Low gloomy. I'm here for it. Feels like a nice cozy morning to sit down and

read some emails. So let's just get into them. This first one is actually really important. It's something that I've wanted to bring up on the show. But I don't feel super educated on it. So I'm very happy. Somebody laid it out for me. And it says little later, my country is ruled by a cult.

But I realized even if one more person knows about it, it would be a big help. Totally. You might have already heard about the protest in Iran for women and human rights. And the main slogan, women life freedom. And now you might think, does that have anything to do with cult? How can the government be a cult? Oh, I know how. But as I've learned from listening to cult leader for three years, yes, I've been here since 2019 in OG. It quacks like a cult. So it is a cult. The protest started about a month ago now. And it was triggered because they got a lot of money. And I think it's a huge deal. And I think it's a huge deal. And I think it's a huge deal. And I think it's a huge deal. very kild young girl named Mase Amini who's just horrible, horrible story. I'm sure a lot of you have seen about it, but just tragic. For years, the police have been straight up harassing, arresting, and abusing people, especially women for not dressing the way they want because it's the law. And these arrests got more and more violent as the years went on. Mase was killed because of head injuries they caused her and it's believed that she was beaten to death. She was only 22 years old. Since the protest started, they have killed about 200

people by shooting or beating them on the streets and arrested so many innocent people.

A lot of them were teenagers and young adults even little kids.
