Hello and welcome back to Cult Leader. I'm your Cult Leader, Spencer Henry, and I'm seeing a lot of new listeners during this quarantine.

So, hi, welcome to the Cult, if you're new, Cult Leader is a podcast about cults and murders and the general spooky yuki yikes.

And little leaders are just little babies. They're so little where I share stories submitted by listeners and catch up on all the hotgoss.

Sometimes I read catfishing stories, really whatever you guys want to send in. If you have a creepy scary story from your personal life that you want to share on a podcast for lots of people to listen to, then go ahead and submit it to Spencer at Cult Leader.com.

A few updates for you guys this week starting with a pin update. I was on Instagram live the other day talking about pins and literally not even five minutes later there was a knock on my door. If you were on there, you saw it. It was UPS with the pins that I ordered back in January.

I'm going to give it a bit before I start to shop back up. I know that a lot of people are going through a financial hardship right now and I want to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to get one that wants one and they do sell out pretty quickly every time even though I ordered a few hundred more than I normally do.

We'll see. I'll keep you guys obviously posted on when those will go up.

Something really cool that I want to talk to you guys about is a podcast that I was actually listening to this morning called a pod about a pod which is a podcast about podcasts like super fucking meta.

Anyways, the host Jordan talks about a different podcast in each episode and last week's was about cult leaders so go give it a listen. It was actually really well done super thoughtful so thank you Jordan and thank you to his guest Taylor for introducing Jordan to the show.

But it was super cool to listen to and I think you have a really cool thing going there. So you guys should definitely check him out and tell him I sent you on to today's sprukey miss.

Can you tell I'm losing it with all of these effects I'm doing right now. I don't want to talk about coronavirus but real quick I said it last week I'll say it again today.

I appreciate everybody that is staying home if they had the capacity to do so and I'm sending good vibes and thank yous to all of the people that are out there working right now even though I'm sure they would rather be at home.

If you are stuck indoors all day I highly recommend just going outside every like two hours and taking a little walk if you can because that's something that has been helping me a lot.

I've also been trying to meditate in the morning and listen I am not a fucking meditate person I normally don't do that I'm not going to sit here and bullshit you like it's some practice I've been doing forever and I'm so fucking zen because I'm not I'm actually whatever the opposite of then is probably my mind.

I'm not a fucking meditator but I'm hoping that it's something that stays with me even when we're out of this weird period that we're in right now but let's get this started.

This is honestly going to be a bit of a melting pot so first we're going to start with Lori Valow updates if you haven't listened to any of my episodes about Lori Valow doomsday day by part one or two then skip this because it won't make sense fast forward till you find whatever I'm on next.

And I also have some story submissions from Debay so we got a few fun things for you guys today let's get to it starting with Lori Valow well first things first the judge that was handling the case in Idaho has stepped down and in addition to that remember when Lori was extra diited back to Idaho from Hawaii and she got new legal counsel well both of her lawyers have reportedly stepped down and refused to work with Lori as well which is just leading me to believe my mother.

I'm hoping to believe more and more that there has to be some crazy thing that we just as a public don't know about yet.

Okay now cut to yesterday well last night actually I received an update from the east Idaho Times that there was more information coming to light about the case.

Okay so you're going to have to think back here remember Brandon Boudreau he's the guy who was married to Lori's niece slash fellow doomsday enthusiast Melanie.

Will he divorce Melanie after Alex Cox Lori's brother allegedly tried to shoot him remember remember is it coming back to you if not go listen I promise this is so interesting in the last episode I mentioned that Melanie had abruptly gotten remarried to a man named Ian Palowski shortly after her divorce from Brandon.
