Hope everybody had a nice week. I feel like it went by very fast. Maybe because everybody had Monday off, it just felt shorter, felt different, I don't know. I was in Palm Springs over the weekend, and I just have to gush for a second because I stayed at the Parker, which was a real treat.

It's just my favorite hotel there. It was designed by Jonathan Adler, who is one of my favorites. And if you're ever in Palm Springs, it is just the ultimate vibe. Definitely worth it, in my opinion. And there's just a sense of nostalgia there.

Forever, my family would go have a drink at the Parker before going to dinners, so it feels just so good being there. So many good memories. Love it. This isn't an ad. I'm just a big fan of the property.

I actually need to go back and redo my list of Palm Springs recommendations because I feel like you guys are constantly de-emming me for Rex. So I'll put one together soon. But while I was in Palm Springs, I finally got to see the new Elvis movie and you guys, I loved it.

First, I was unsure when it started, if you've seen it, you know, but I was like, what's going on here? But it ended up being really good. But I will say, as a long time Priscilla Priscilla fan, I was a little underwhelmed. I don't think it's the actress's fault. I just felt like she wasn't right.

I was chosen, Lana Del Rey, 100% to play the part, even Priscilla Priscilla herself wanted Lana for the role. But other than that, it was good. But it is long. So don't do what I do, which is choose a 10 o'clock showing because I was fighting to keep my eyes open.

I went to dinner with some friends before right next to the movie theater. And one of you guys DMed me after I left the restaurant and you were like, I thought I saw you there, but I didn't want to come up or whatever. And I'm like, please do. Because who knows what I was doing? I was probably leaning over a tower of onion rings.

For some reason that night, I like couldn't decide what I wanted. So I just ordered a bunch of random stuff. There's like so many random appetizers there. I looked like a kid out of carnival, truly. Anyway, I've been watching a lot of documentaries, you guys. So many good ones. And I need to also put together like a list of recommendations for documentaries because I've seen some really good ones lately about old asylum and boarding schools, which I feel like might be our next venture on the show.

After we work our way out of faith-ealing and televangelism and all that because there's some horrifying stories of what was happening at these institutions that I want to talk about. And as far as the boarding schools that I've watched some documentaries on, a lot of them are very culty. Think like synonym type vibes.

There was a little leader somewhat recently where somebody wrote in about this institution. I forget the name of it. There's a book about it. And I actually bought the book. I haven't read it yet. I guess that's not very helpful right now. Which is why I need to write things down.

Okay, one last thing. Sorry to gossip. But can we talk about the fact that there are several different sources claiming now that Army Hammer has been selling time shares in the Cayman Islands.

Everyone's been wondering where he went off to because obviously it was such like a hot topic. I guess it has been two years, maybe a year ago, with the cannibalism claims and all of that. But apparently he's selling time shares in the Cayman Islands.

I know this sounds very bizarre. So I started looking into it because I posted about it on my Instagram stories or whatever. And I found this article on the cut. I think that was like, yes, he's there. He spent a lot of time there during the quarantine. Someone had posted a picture of a flyer for the resort with his picture on it.

One of his friends came out and was like, no, we made that flyer as a joke. He doesn't actually work there or work here. He just hangs out here sometimes. But I needed to know more. So I reached out to Duma on Instagram, who I'm sure a lot of you guys follow already for the full scoop.

And I sent them the article from the cut that said it was fake. And then they were like, yeah, I saw the article, but our source maintains that their family member said that Army Hammer was there selling time shares.

And then we found an article came out on TMZ. And I guess ARMYs rep told TMZ that Army does hang out at the resort. And the rep told TMZ that he reached out to Army to see if he was will if he was there selling time shares. But that Army had it responded.

And so I messaged Duma again. I was like, did you see this part where the rep said that Army had it responded. She's like, well, what's he going to say to the rep? Like, yeah, I'm here selling time shares. It's weird.

I love how weird the scenario would be. I told them that it feels like the end of a lifetime movie where in the last scene, the main guy shows up on an island somewhere. So you know that there's going to be a sequel just very bizarre.
