Hello and welcome back to Cult Leader. I'm your Cult Leader, Spencer Henry, and this here, this little thing, it's what we call a little leader around these parts.

And this is where I read the stories that you send to me. Happy Friday, babes. I want to start off by saying that you're going to notice some changes happening over here.

Nothing that you'll really, really notice, but the way that we're doing ads is different now. There's just some internal changes happening all for the better. That being said, I'm not sure if an ad will pop up on this episode or multiple ads will pop up on this episode.

I'll keep you guys posted, but since Friday is this one we catch up, thought I would just give you the word because I know we put obituary out yesterday and people were like, is there no ads anymore?

I'll have a more clear understanding of what's going on and a better update for you guys, hopefully by Monday, if not by the following Friday's little leader.

Hope everybody had a nice week. If you follow me on Instagram, you already know. Last night I watched under the banner of heaven. I watched the second episode and I started the third. Oh my god, when they were in the woods, I'm sorry, it's not a spoiler, but like when they were in the woods, there was like that scene with the animals on the tree.

I was just like, what is going on here? Very cool tea vibes, but I'll say this, you have to be in the mood to watch it because I've sat down several times to watch the second episode.

And if you're not fully committed to sitting there and paying attention, your mind will start wandering because you'll miss something.

I like looked down at my phone for a minute last night when I was watching and I had to rewind five minutes because I was like, I don't know what's happening anymore. I've seen some people be like, oh, that's kind of boring, but it's not. You just have to, you just have to commit to paying attention.

But I'm going to keep watching it. I've heard that episodes five and six are like totally worth waiting for. So if you're having a hard time, keep on trucking.

Another thing that I saw last night, the reason that I looked down at my phone is because I saw this article or not, it was like a tweet of an article and I went and found the actual article and it's from Dallas Fort Worth CBS.

The reason that it caught my attention is because it said escaped convict Gonzalo Lopez now linked to slangs of three children into adults. And I was like, what is happening here?

So this is something that's happening, I guess, right now. So I just wanted to read the article really quick. It says the Texas Department of Criminal Justice confirms they believe convicted murderer Gonzalo Lopez 46 has killed five more people, three of which are children since escaping custody on May 12th.

This is apparently a whole thing that's happening right now. I hadn't heard anything about this. I don't even know if anyone's messaged me about it. But it says the slain family was from Houston and we're visiting their weekend home according to law enforcement.

They were seen alive earlier in the day on June 2nd. The home where they were killed was cleared multiple times as it's within the primary search perimeter.

According to law enforcement, but officials said they believe Lopez broke into the home at some point after hiding in the woods. Authorities also said that it's possible Lopez stole clothes and potentially firearms.

While investigating leads inside the search perimeter, law enforcement agencies received a call from an individual who had become concerned after not hearing from an elderly relative. That's when the bodies were discovered not far from where Lopez allegedly stabbed the driver of a prison transport bus before fleeing after it crashed.

He was being transported from a lock up in Gatesville, which is 100 miles west of the area where he escaped to Huntsville about 50 miles south of that area.

It's scary. He's on this bus being transferred from one prison to the other, stabs the bus driver and then goes on the run.

And is apparently still on the run. It says in 1999 Chevrolet Silverado was missing from the residents. It's believed that escaped inmate Gonzalo Lopez may be driving the vehicle and may be armed.

Authorities said they believed the missing truck is a farm truck that's likely not registered in the names of the victims.
