Merch update. Holy shit. You guys. Okay, so there was obviously no new full episode this week. And this is the first time that I have done that in, I mean, I don't even know, 30 weeks. So give me a break.

But I had to work at Coachella this past weekend and we also launched Merch, which is fucking such a big deal and skip ahead a minute if you don't want to hear about Merch, but like holy shit, we sold out in less than 48 hours.

And I got to tell you guys I was a little nervous because I had just so much inventory sitting in my apartment that got there while I was at Coachella. And so I was just like, I don't know, the past week has been like a total just like storm of absolute craziness, but I am so grateful.

And like it was like an emotional experience doing the Merch myself this time because I was like, I mean, we sold out that that's insane. Like and it's not like there was just one or two of each thing like there was a lot of stuff in my apartment. And I mean, thank God it sold out. That's all gone. But I know it's also a bummer because some of you weren't able to get what you wanted.

Just know that it will be restocked as soon as possible. It's not going to be like another couple months. Like the store will eventually be regularly up. And that's why I purchased so much inventory this time because I was like, oh, maybe I can just like keep the shop running all the time, but clearly that did not happen. So now I know to order more.

But I just want to say it's so cool to me that like it's I knew that there was listeners in so many other countries, but I did not know that I mean, it doesn't make it real until I'm literally sitting there printing a shipping label for somebody in South Africa or Iceland, Sweden, the UK.

Norway, you guys were fucking everywhere. So thank you so so much. Like it's just incredible. But it that store that address the Shopify account that will be up again shortly. What else? Okay, real quick international shipping costs. I know a lot of you had questions about it. It auto calculates. I didn't want to put one specific price because sometimes it's cheaper. Sometimes it's more. And so what it does is it auto calculates a checkout. And I can't lower that cost because that's literally how much it costs me to ship it. The first topic that I want to talk about this week is the act on Hulu. So I finally had time this week to watch catch up on like the final episodes and stuff. Not at the series, but that I've missed. And it's really weird. I'll talk about it in a second. But first I just kind of want to hit on one key like hot topic. That's been going around that a lot of you guys have been sending me.

I see and her stepmom have both spoken out against the hit series on Hulu. The casting was not the issue. Gypsy who's currently serving time for the second degree murder of her mom, D.D. Blanchard is apparently happy to have Joey King portraying her on the show.

I think mostly it's probably frustrating because Gypsy is unable to watch from behind bars. She's heard from several acquaintances about her friend on the show, Alia, the girl of Custry. And that she's portrayed as this kind of like bad girl.

But in reality, Gypsy looked up to her as this like positive influence, an older sister type. So I mean, I think that like Alia has also spoken out like the actual girl.

Just because like she's like, I live in this small town. If you portray me as a certain type of way like my employer is everyone's going to see this, which I completely understand.

But obviously there's going to be some discrepancies on the show like this. But if you've seen the real documentary, which I know I've told you guys a hundred times to listen to, I've done an episode on it. I think it's like episode 10 or something back towards the beginning.

There is no need. It's just not a story that needs any more dramatic. It is a shit show in and out of itself.

But Gypsy's stepmom, Christy Blanchard and screenwriter Francesca Michelli, had been working on a film adaptation, I guess, about like the family's life.
