How's it going, babes? Happy Friday. Hope you are all having a nice week. We will be skipping a little leader next week because I'll be in Florida during our little Halloween live show, which is our normal recording time.

But we'll be back on track after that and I must inform you in other breaking news. I have not cut up on American Horror Story.

Any and all TV times this week was dedicated to documentaries, all of which were for episodes that have yet to come out so I can't tell you what they were, but I will tell you this.

One of these documentaries is a new favorite and I'd put it in my top five all-time favorite documentaries and you're going to know what I'm talking about when you hear the episode.

Because when I tell you a documentary has not sucked me in this much, since mommy dead and dearest, I mean it, it's been years, it's that incredible.

Speaking of, if you didn't know, mommy dead and dearest covers the Gypsy Rose Blanchard story and in somewhat breaking news, our gal is getting out in December and already has a docky series in the works.

I believe I posted about this on the cult leader podcast Instagram stories, so if you're not following there, you can follow us online at cult leader podcast.

But there was an article from people breaking it down that I wanted to share. This is from October 12th by Christine Pelisick for People magazine and it says,

Gypsy Rose Blanchard recounts a relentless child abuse in new docky series I am unapologetically myself.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is scheduled to be released from prison in December after pleading guilty to murdering her abusive mom.

Gypsy Rose, the child abuse victim who was convicted for her role in her mother's killing, is speaking out in a new docky series.

After a lifetime of silence, I finally get to use my voice to share my story and speak my truth to Gypsy says in a trailer for Lifetime's The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard,

airing on January 5th, 6th and 7th at 8pm.

As a survivor of relentless child abuse, this docky series chronicles my quest for liberation and journey through self discovery, she says,

I am unapologetically myself and unafraid to expose the hidden parts of my life that have never been revealed until now.

As we know, this article mentions D.D. Blanchard was found dead in her bed in June of 2015 and Gypsy and her boyfriend, Nick Gaudijon,

were both charged with first degree murder. Gypsy, now 32, pleaded guilty to second degree murder in 2016 and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Many were on Gypsy's side feeling that she was justified and she did this to end this horrible cycle of abuse.
