How's it going Dave's happy Friday? I'll tell you how I'm doing. A whole hell of a lot better than last week.

You guys I'm so happy to be back in feeling normal and like myself again. I guess we have some catching up to do.

First off if you're new here and this is the first episode you're listening to this is the weirdest one to start with but you're gonna get to know me real well the rest of you.

You know I have been pretty open about my health anxiety so you can only imagine what the recent events have been like for me.

So I'm just gonna tell you guys the kind of quickish story of what happened, why I've been absent from the podcast basically.

I don't have a definitive thing to say like oh this happened and this is why I got sick but I was up visiting my sister and I was staying at her house.

We went out to dinner on a Saturday night and I ended up getting violently ill, most likely food poisoning and barely slept at all through the night.

We can all infer what was going on and the next morning Sunday I wake up and I am just out of it.

I'm still violently ill. I can't keep anything down and I was just kind of rambling not making a whole lot of sense.

And thank God I was at my sister's house because I'm so scared of going to the doctors. I'm so scared of anything medical.

It's just part of my anxiety. Long story short my sister takes my temperature and she's like yeah you have like 103 degree fever right now.

I need to go to like the urgent care or the emergency room. I ended up going to the emergency room.

They brought me in, they start running tests. I'm obviously panicked and I was very open and by the way if you have health anxiety and you ever find yourself in a medical emergency situation, tell them that you have health anxiety.
