This is Rhea. Welcome to Little Stories for Tiny People. Today is a special episode featuring

an audiobook version of Little Head Chog goes to school. If you have the book, yay! You

can read along with me and turn the pages when you hear this sound. If you don't have the

book, that's okay too. You can follow along just as you do every other story with your

big imagination. Let's get to it. It's called Little Head Chog goes to school, written and

illustrated by me, Rhea Pecter. If you have the book, this is the one time you have pictures

in front of you. Otherwise, you can imagine the pictures however you want. Okay, here we go.

As soon as the sun slipped behind the hill, Little Head Chog leapt out of bed. She made herself a

yummy breakfast of snails and mushrooms. She went to her hat closet and gazed at all of her hats.

She had one for every occasion. Now she needed a hat for the biggest occasion of all.

Perfect. Perfect for my very first night of school.

Oops. Little Head Chog. Little Head Chog. It's very early. Yes, Dad. It's your first night of school.

That's why I'm up early. Let's eat breakfast. I had breakfast. Let's pack your backpack.

Did it last night, Dad? Okay. What are you looking forward to most? I can't wait to cross the bridge

over the river and there will be a shooting star shimmering across the... There is no bridge on the

way to school and there will probably not be a shooting star. Well, I'm really looking forward to when

they give me my school cape. The one with L-H on the back in break-old letters. In the picture I drew

the other night, all the students had school capes. The capes are magical and they let you fly around

like birds. Dad realized what was going on. He was used to little hedgehog's big imagination.

Little hedgehog's big imagination was very powerful and very delightful, but also sometimes not so helpful.

You're not going to be able to fly at school. Oh, that's fine. No magical capes. No big deal. I'm totally

good with that. As long as the ponies are there, I'll be happy. Ponies. There are no ponies at school.
