Summary

LITTLE HEDGEHOG IS BACK and she is thrilled to be going on a field trip with her classmates...and with her DAD, who had a list of other exciting things he'd planned to do that night. Will Little Hedgehog and Bebe's field trip go as planned? Will my guests have a more positive reaction to my stories if they sit in an extremely comfortable chair??? Listen and find out. Thank you to CLAIRE for providing the very creative idea for Little Hedgehog and Bebe's MURAL! Thank you to everyone who submitted a mural entry. I'll be posting on social media with the other beautiful entries I received. If you LOVE this story, please SHARE IT! Many listeners around the world have learned about the podcast from a friend who loves it. And if you happen to have an Apple device, leave a review in Apple Podcasts! If your tiny person wants to share a story they've written, please send photos or recordings of it to rhea@littlestoriestinypeople.com. I LOVE to see their artwork, stories, and anything else they'd like to share. BIG THANKS to the listeners who provided sound effects used in the story: ARIANNA, CALVIN, THEO, AARON, and CHARLIE! I am STILL COLLECTING sound effects (and I never want to stop)! Just use the voice memo app on your phone, record your tiny people making a (recognizable) sound, and email it to rhea@littlestoriestinypeople.com! You might just hear your sound in a future story. Thank you to EMELINE for helping me with the reminder at the beginning of this episode!!! Your child can help me too! Here are the lines: Remember, there are no pictures. You'll have to imagine the pictures in your mind. You can imagine them however you want. OK, here we go! My book is available NOW. Find it here: https://amzn.to/3DeLf6E Thank you so much to those who have supported my work by getting the book! Sign up for my email list at www.littlestoriestinypeople.com! Oh, hold on. I have a delivery. A little this way. Keep going. You've got like seven inches.

0:23.5

Okay, that's it. Don't want to knock over my cabinet filled with breakable porcelain figurines

0:29.4

that I keep in my studio. Thank you. Friends, that was just a delivery. It's my new guest

0:38.2

chair. I don't know if I've ever mentioned this, but my guests, they usually sit on this

0:44.3

very, very uncomfortable wooden chair. It's quite sharp at points and it also gives you

0:52.0

splinters. Pretty much as soon as you sit on it, you get about five splinters. And I don't

0:58.3

know if you've noticed, but some of my guests, well, they don't have the best reactions to

1:04.4

the stories. They focus on all the wrong things, in my opinion. So I thought, okay, what's

1:11.0

the issue here? I mean, can't be me, so it must be something else. And the chair came

1:17.5

to mind. The sharp, uncomfortable splintery chair. So I got a new chair. This one is a recliner

1:26.1

and it's super comfy. And here it is. It just came in that track that you heard. And

1:31.4

now it's settled in right next to my cabinet with porcelain figurines. And now with such

1:37.6

a comfortable chair, all of my guests will love my stories and appreciate them and not

1:44.5

focus on little details like, why no tap dancing? And hey, you just added those horses in

1:51.8

at the end. None of that anymore friends. So please welcome my guest, Claudius the beetle.

1:59.9

Thank you for coming. Come on in. Okay, no, no, sit in the chair. What's a chair? This,

2:07.6

this thing. This is a chair, a really comfortable chair. Okay, Claudius is now settled into my

2:15.7

new recliner. What do you think is it comfortable? Right? Yeah, Claudius likes the chair. All right,

2:24.9

let's get to our story. Little hedgehog goes on a field trip. Take it away, Emily. Remember,

2:34.7

there are no pictures. You'll have to imagine the pictures in your mind. You can imagine the

2:41.6

pictures however you want. Okay, let's go. The sun hadn't even set when little hedgehog's dad
