0:09.1	out to be a very wonderful quality, his ability to gauge when it's time to leave.
0:15.5	Like at our wedding, I was so absorbed in all the excitement that I lost track of time,
0:20.2	and I'll never forget how he leaned down to whisper in my ear.
0:23.8	It's time now for us to leave.
0:26.2	And I felt such a rush of agreement and relief.

0:31.6	He knew just the right moment.
0:34.3	And I'll also never forget one cold, dark night in New York City years ago.

0:42.1	My daughter Eliza just mentioned it to me a few days ago.
0:46.4	Now another one of Jamie's great qualities is that he often makes plans for the four of

0:51.5	He buys tickets to plays, he finds fun restaurants, he takes us to new neighborhoods.
0:56.2	And on this winter Friday night, he'd made a dinner reservation and bought tickets to
1:00.2	a Shakespeare play that was supposed to be great.

1:04.1	We were all looking forward to a big night out, but for some reason when the time came,
1:08.5	Jamie, Eliza, Eleanor and I were all exhausted.
1:12.3	Eleanor fell asleep in the taxi on the way to dinner, which she never does.
1:16.4	During dinner, we all struggled to make conversation, and I have to confess, I was bratty.
