Before our prayer petitions, just a reminder that Mike Schercet and I will be in the Maryland,

the Baltimore, Maryland area and the Virginia area this weekend.

On 12th, I'll be in Baltimore, we'll both be in Baltimore and in 14th. I'll be in Baltimore. We'll both be in Baltimore and 14th. Michael be in Virginia. So if you want to come and

We pray tonight for several people for Gregwood whose sojourn on earth appears to be ending so we pray that the Lord strengthen his family console them prepare him for what comes next.

We pray for Renee Garnett for her to continue to have the strength

and the healing to deal with her cancer.

We pray for special intention. We also pray for priests and

religious. Our topic tonight is little fortresses of the sacred heart.

In acts 242, we're given the foundation principles for how the faith was lived out in the early community.

We read in verse 42 of acts chapter 2, and the disciples devoted themselves to the

Apostles teaching to prayer to the breaking of bread and fellowship. The first Christians did not until a few generations

later build churches. Instead they gathered in each other's homes for their

eucharistic meals, praying and living under the same roof.
