Good to be back.

So we are here, as we were last week, to discuss Ralph Moody's novel Little Britches,

subtitled Father and I were ranchers.

And we are going to get to that.

We're going to discuss chapters 7 through 10 in just a minute.

Quickly, though, I wanted to make a couple of announcements

or adjustments. As you know, after we discuss Little Bridges, we will be jumping into

sense and sensibility. Karen Swallow Pryor will be joining us as a guest host, guest contributor

for that conversation. We're really excited about that. And then once that's over, we're going to shift the schedule a little bit because

I did get some requests for this and it's been on my mind for a while if we could make it work.

So what we're going to do for the rest of the summer anyway, after we finish since insensibility,

is we're going to talk about Emily Wilson's translation

of the Odyssey and we're going to go through that at various paces. Some books will do, some

episodes will do on one book, some will do on more than one book because it's a long book. But

we got a lot of requests for that and people have asked us over the years if we

could do that. So we're going to try it and we're going to see how it goes. And, you know, if people

like that, we can try other similarly long books and take our sweet time on them. So we're going to

do that after that. And we're going to do, I know Heidi and I are going to be on it, and then we're going to at least bring in a number of other people to talk about different books. And, I mean,
