Imagine being Simon.

Your failure is known by all of your peers.

You've not blown it once, you've blown it three times.

They know that.

They forsook him, but they never denied him.

You've gone to hold nine yards and then some. Bad track record.

He calls your name. you don't want that.

And of all things, he asks a comparative question

more than these.

Could have met more than you love fishing
