0:00.0	It's the end of the year and we're wrapping up Lucky Season 7.
0:08.0	I don't even think I've ever dated someone for seven years until I met Johnny of course. This was a huge year with a lot of wild ideas
0:16.7	including my biggest wild idea yet. In June I published a book and gave a TEDx talk all in the same week. It nearly crushed me, but both of these things were on my bucket list, and I'm so glad I got to cross them off.
0:29.0	I'm not the only one who had a major wild idea this year. We talked to more than 50
0:34.5	phenomenal guests and we also heard about your wild ideas. We love hearing from

1:01.0	We laughed, I cried. Some things surprised us and some things made us reflect.
1:07.0	Who knew an adventure show could cover so much terrain?
1:11.0	One of our highlights was interviewing legendary mountaineer Conrad Anker at the beginning of the year.
1:18.1	Conrad has truly experienced the highs and the lows of adventuring outside and has learned to have gratitude through it all.
1:26.0	Yeah, mostly in the morning, as I wake up and I get ready to go out and be in the woods it's gratitude and just for the simple things after if you've
1:38.7	been on a long expedition you come back and you're like wow a, a cup of tea is really nice.
1:44.0	Because if you've been on an expedition, you have to find snow, melt snow, get the stove going,
1:50.3	brew this tea.
1:51.3	It takes quite a bit of work and so when you come back after these
1:55.8	self-imposed journeys of hardship you have a greater appreciation for the
2:01.7	quotidian things that we kind of take for granted in our day-to-day life.
2:07.0	Conrad also surprised us with a fun little peek into his preparations. We learned that before he leaves for an
2:15.7	expedition, Conrad likes to get a pedicure. I guess you gotta keep those feet supple on Everest.
2:25.0	More than a few of our guests this year were climbers and mountaineers.
