A while back, it's been a few years ago, but a while back,

Linda Holmes, who hosts NPR's Pop Culture Happy Hours,

she wrote this really incredible piece about how impossible it is to keep up with

the pace of all the great art that's coming out, you know, books and TV and films, and how the truth is, you're simply just going to miss most of it the vast

majority of it you're never going to get to there's too much and Linda noted in

her piece that this isn't really a bad thing. This is actually a good thing because it means that there's no shortage of riches in the world for you to discover and it means that the world is you know bursting with creativity and a lot of

wonder and magic for you to discover. But it also means that there is a lot of noise and it's sometimes hard for a work of art to truly

capture our complete undistracted, locked in, full attention. But when that happens, when you are lucky enough to be moved

by a great piece of music, for example, in really deep and profound in meaningful

ways, I think it's one of the really deep and profound in meaningful ways.

I think it's just one of the greatest feelings

in the world to be able to have.
