Why mommy drinks?

Hey everybody, welcome to Why Mommy drinks.

This is Betsy Stover.

And I'm Amanda Allen.

This week is a bit of a shit show and that's why this is coming to you from me, Betsy, in my closet alone.

So this week we had an episode. We had a lovely guest Alan McCloud who is an actor and a director. He came

on the show. We did a whole episode, you know, we taped for like an hour and a half, two hours, and then we're like, okay, that's the end of the episode, and then it just disappeared into the ether. So that was a surprise. So we feel

very bad that she feels

and she feels very bad that and she feels responsible somehow.

Honestly, I think it was just a matter of time before we lost an episode.

So it's amazing we've gotten like two years and this is the first time we've recorded an

episode and then lost it to the yeah so anyway it's just me

Betsy talking to you slash myself in a closet I don't have a martini this time just a seltzer but that's only because I've already had a martini.

So let me start off by telling you that I have three kids, all boys, 8, 6, and 3.

Amanda has three kids, but she's not here. It's hard to stay on track when it's just me alone.

Let's see.

So let me go ahead and I'll tell you the story that I told on our lost episode

with Alan and hopefully it'll still be fun even though I don't have, you know, Amanda here and

Alan here to sort of bounce off of.

So this happened this past Sunday.

My husband Ari is amazing, as I'm sure you guys know.

He let me sleep in super late. He brought me breakfast in bed.
