So most likely you know what we do here during a listener short stack.

You write it, we read it. If you're new, you write it and we read it.

The first order of business is we got a message. I guess at some point and I don't remember

one because it was a million years ago we were trying to figure out the difference

between parole and

one of our listeners Amy H said I think parole is early released from a prison sentence.

Probation is in lieu of imprisonment.

Both are versions of court supervision and both require periodic check-ins with officers of the court,

parole or probation officers.
