Andy, it's great to be back on the podcast with you and I thought I might have lost my

host chair there because of the great interviews you did with Cheryl Batchelder and Charlie

Rundbroke. Yeah, those were a lot of fun. Yeah, they were. But today I'm happy to be here

because I get to ask you questions submitted by our podcast listeners. Yeah, there were some

great questions and lots of questions. Absolutely. Well, let's get to the first one. The question

is Andy, looking back as a leader, what have been the best investments of your time and relational

capital? And that is a really, really important question because our most important and our

most valuable asset is our time. And every leader listening today has had that one-on-one

conversation with themselves in the car or sitting in their office thinking, what should I be doing

with my time? Where do I place my energy? Where do I lean my weight in the organization? What makes

the biggest different? What is difference? What do my value add? And we look at our calendars,

and if we're not careful, our calendars will determine where we spend our time and our calendars

determine who we spend time with and I struggle with it constantly. So to step back and to ask this

question, if I had an empty calendar and I could control it, which ultimately, in many cases,

we have more control over it than we think we do, I would answer the question this way. I think

looking back that my best investment of time in relational capital has been with our leadership team.

And the reason I say that is because the nature of our leadership team and how I've used that

and how that has helped me through the years and a lot of guys, many women who do what I do in

terms of multi-site churches don't use their leadership team the same way and some people love

meeting, some people hate meetings. But I love any meeting that has to do with the future and
