Alright Joel, so you're going to share the big news?

You've finally actually closed on new property, right?

Yeah, so I just bought my first multi-family property.

So it's a duplex, and if you are a member of the Facebook group, you probably saw me post

recently a picture of a nerdy board game and some beers, and so that's how my wife and

I celebrated this new purchase.

The finer things in life, right?

Nerdy board games and good beer.

But yes, so we bought a duplex, and we're really excited about it.

It's my first foray into multi-family investing.

You know, I have three single-family homes, and now this.

And man, you know, you and I, we've talked about it multiple times on the podcast already,

and not to bore the heck out of people that don't care about real estate investing.

But I'm super pumped about this, and you know, the numbers work out really good.

I've got solid tenants in there.

It's a solid house.

So the great thing too, I think a lot of people think, and the biggest excuse I hear from

people who don't want to start investing in real estate, and by the way, if you don't want

to, you don't have to.

But the biggest excuse is, oh man, it's going to be so much work.
