types of fees? What do the different terms mean in plain English? Oh, Jamie, I know. And I understand

your frustration. You know, Alexander, you probably remember when you were studying for your test.

You had to learn all about the, and I can't even remember the names of all of these. What was it,

the Investment Company Act of 1934 or 1940? Then there was an act in 1940, the Act of 1933. And I can't

remember all of their names. Yeah. I had to learn all that stuff. But, you know, what difference

does it make now? Right. So, for example, the investment company act of whenever it was, 1940, I think, because it was coming out of the Depression.

Yeah, it was. Had the new rules about investments having to be offered on a prospectus. Now, a prospectus was meant to give people information about an investment so that they could read the prospectus and make a decision about whether or not that was a good investment for them.
