The show is on break from new interview hell while Chuck takes a much needed summer break at his lake refuge.

I haven't heard much from Chuck yet since he departed other than that he's having a good time so that's always a

good sign that he's actually taking a break and enjoying the weather and the

company of dear friends and family. Chuck has been posting pictures and remarks about his summer break

While Chuck's been away you listeners have been in charge of our programming for the past couple of weeks, and

man, you have come through with some excellent suggestions.

So many suggestions came in that we haven't had the space to air all of them and I must say it was a bit of a challenge

narrowing it down to six episodes so again thank you for all of your

suggestions you picked out some of my very favorites. We kicked off our two-week

listener favorite showcase last week with interviews including one with the late great labor organizer Jane

Michael V who passed away earlier this month after a prolonged battle with cancer

correction last month.
