This is a real honor and a privilege.

My name is Katie Deble.

I'm not doing a traditional introduction because this is a special episode where I do have a guest with me for

the intro, a co-host, if you will, today. A guest host, just like Saturday Night Live,

my very close friend, someone who I admire and look up to, even though you are younger than me.

And I've known for for so many years at this point, I guess we would have met in maybe what,

2016?

I think like 2016.

Yeah.

You were at NYU.

Well, I'll let you explain how we met, but truly, you are one of the most sparkly, fun, incredible, smart people that I have ever met in my life. And luck would have it that we both ended up moving from New York

to Los Angeles and our lives are very intertwined now in ways we couldn't have imagined. We

share multiple jobs and we both work. It's so complex to even begin begin i'm recording from our office that we both share

where i am sitting in your chair i don't actually even work at the office i just

where to even begin to explain the complexity of all this and we both work at the shop that is

near and dear to both of us and And you are the light of this neighborhood

and my life. And then basically one day I came into the shop this summer. And, you know,

this had been going on since the early in the pandemic since 2020. And I was like,

oh, yeah, I'm not doing well today. I don't know who's going to edit the 2020. And I was like, oh, yeah, I'm not doing well today.

I don't know who's going to edit the podcast.

And I, you know, Mike who had been with, let it out for such a long time, was leaving.
