Crack open a fortune cookie, it's empty.

Other times you crack it open, you read that fortune, you're like, yeah, that's great,

and let's move on to the next.

And sometimes you wonder if it's something that appeals to you,

if it really is going to matter and we just don't know in an uncertain world.

So what I focused on in this book is yes there is all that uncertainty out there and that's why this book is important

is one to acknowledge that it exists in lots of forms and everybody is going to encounter

it ongoing it's not like we encounter one example of

uncertainty like COVID, we get a shot, you know, we reach herd immunity and

suddenly we're all good. No, it's layers of uncertainty on top of one another, interacting with one

another. So the question then really becomes, you know, it's great to get that perspective.

It's also a little frightening when you sense the greater reality of this

uncertainty. So what the hell do you do?
