There's the challenge of opening yourself up to what else is out there and to do so you

need to step beyond the way you see things so you can let something new in, which is a

totally scary process, and then you have to then continue to work in this place where

you're uncomfortable in order to be able to ultimately create something new and go through

that process of iteration and refinement and discovery until it is actually something.

I mean, when you first step out into the unknown, you're an infant, you know, you're really

out of your element.

You have whatever skills you've cultivated to work with that environment, but you're

in a new world.

So there's always a stepping out into the unknown.

I see this in the microcosm of Muse as we work with a team to build new things.

What you're doing is that no one has ever done before and to do so really is asking

everyone to step out of their comfort zone and to try to see things with fresh new eyes

so that we can, you know, actually be able to, you know, receive what we need to actually

know what to do as opposed to, you know, just doing what you know in a new place and having

it failed because you're not listening.
