0:58.3	I wanted to call today to share with you and other fellow listeners how I found personal peace
1:03.0	after experiencing what I believe was a classic midlife crisis. In hindsight, it was actually a
1:08.3	divinely placed opportunity to experience intense spiritual growth and becoming my own best friend.
1:14.5	It was anything but easy, but facing hard truths and digging for the core of me in my existence and not giving up has brought me to such a better place.
1:22.9	I'm grateful for this experience, this passage to remembering who I really am.
1:29.1	In early 2020,
1:35.6	what began as daily dissatisfaction, restlessness, discomfort, irritation, feeling unsettled,
1:43.4	evolved into me needing to find answers. Why? Why do I feel this way? Why do I live here? Why do I do this?
1:44.4	They questioned everything.
1:46.8	My usual methods for stress relief and things that brought me peace no longer had those effects.
1:52.8	In fact, some of them had the opposite effect.
1:55.1	Or they simply were unavailable due to the pandemic.
1:58.6	I knew I could lie to myself and use all the things 2020 to blame for how I was feeling
2:04.3	and to avoid all of this.
2:06.6	But that would just be a lame excuse.
2:08.4	And I knew I'd be exactly where I was, even if the Matrix hadn't gotten crazy.
2:12.9	Real answers began to appear the day I realized I had a hard time looking at myself in the eye.
