You can always send me your emails by sending them to Matt, M-A-T-T-Ril Caribbean blog.com. I'm going to see how many emails we get through on this episode. So perhaps I'll set a new personal record for how many we get to. |
| 0:53.1 | But let's begin with some emails here. Our first one is from Brian Madras, who writes, hi, Matt. I have a couple questions. Me and my family are going on our first cruise ever. We're doing a five-night Western Caribbean cruise on Jules of the Seas in January. We're living out of Port Miami. me. I've already online check-in at the 9-D-day market and have our set-sale pass. First question. I printed out our set-sail pass on the cruise contract, but I did not see anywhere to print off luggage tags. It gave me an example of what the logo tag looks like, but I could not find where to get them. Hmm. I'm wondering, Brian, do you have, like, is the luggage tag you're looking at, like, the real luggage tag? Like, does it show you on there, like, you know, what deck you're on, have your name? I may not have your name, but it'll have your state room number. If so, that is your luggage tag, and what you have to do, Brian, is just print out multiple copies of that. Nothing else else, Brian, after you complete online checking, just go back to the Railcribbon website, log in, you'll see an option to print luggage tags on there, and basically you just print as many copies as you need. Roller Caribbean and luggage checks are printable. Back in the day, they used to actually give you some, they come in the mail, but it just doesn't make any sense now. all you do is you print them out fold them up it's kind of like your own little origami project and then you staple them on the end i use personally some luggage tag holders that i bought on amazon there's a number of them you go to amazon.com and search for you know cruise luggage tag holders there's a bunch of them that are available they're very inexpensive what's nice about it is if you obviously go on multiple cruises, you can reuse them. |
| 2:33.5 | And also the idea, by the way, why you'd want to use that besides, you know, utility is, of course, the idea that it protects them from being ripped off. I don't think it's realistically. It's fine without them. Trust me, I've got on many cruises without them. but since I grew up and I decided, you know what, probably should invest a one. |
| 2:51.1 | Brian, second question is, nowhere online during Trust me, I've gone on many cruises without them, but since I cruise fairly often, I decided, you know what? |
| 2:52.0 | Probably should invest a one. |
| 2:48.1 | Brian, second question is, nowhere online during check-in process that tells us where to go. How do we know which terminal to go to? P.S. we have all your blogs. They've been very helpful for us first-time cruisers. Brian's a great question, and a lot of times I get questions about, you know, which terminal where you add and all that, don't worry about it. |
| 2:50.2 | It is crystal clear when you get to the terminal. |
| 3:25.7 | There are signs, digital signs all around the terminal, as the port area, I should say, as to which ship is at what terminal? First and foremost, the ships are massive, so it's pretty easy to go, oh, there's our ship right over there. But even if you're not sure which terminal it is, they'll be digital signage to know. So if you're using a Lyft or Uber, that's the common question. |
| 3:28.5 | Well, that's fine in Dandy map, but I've got to put in my Lyft or Uber where to go. |
| 3:22.0 | Just put in, you know, Port Miami. And you can always change it on the fly. It's not a big deal in order to do that. So I think you should be good to go on that. Brian, thank you for your email. |
| 3:24.1 | Our next email is from Lucerates. |
| 3:26.8 | Is there a list of drinks available on their refreshment package? |
| 3:27.7 | Any recommendations? |
| 3:42.9 | Also, are there... you for your email. Our next email is from Luceritz. Is there a list of drinks available on their refreshment package? |
