We had representation of the IRA, the UVF, the UFF, the UFF, Shinfane and the UDA, all in that room,

surrounded by 200 armed guardee and one of the guys from the UDA.

Well, he said, I just want to say it's ruined my life.

I was listening to this guy, everything that he said, I also believe in. We just go about it a different way.

I said, why has that ruined your life? He said, I've killed a lot of people. What makes it easier to do

is I demonize them in my head. They're scum. We were taught this. I've just learned today, you know,

that Jerry Adams is as human as I am, and I can't kill him anymore.
