Big transition, right?

So I've often, I've told you guys I shared a while back.

I don't remember exactly when it was about when I get quiet, I tend to get outside.

I like to sit out and I just said I enjoy gardening.

That's when I get quiet and I hear from God.

You can tell where I got quiet today.

I got a little too much quiet out in the sun. I

didn't get too much quiet, but I got a little more sun than I intended to. But I got quiet outside.

And recently, as I was doing that, I started thinking about our children. And Amy and I are in what

people call a transition time of life. We're empty nesters now. It's not nearly as bad as

they tell you it's going to be. I promise. If you're facing that, you guys, God has great things

for you after your children are gone. They're a blessing. They're a blessing and good things happen

while they're there, but he prepares you each step along the way. So don't look to it with dread and anxiety. It's a good thing. But our boys are both married now. We have, we're transitioning. We have two new children. They both married. We have beautiful daughters-in-law that we love and are learning and getting to know. So we're praying differently for our children than we ever have. We're believing differently for our

priorities and things in life have shifted. And it's a good thing. And God has blessed us. But I was sitting

out there thinking about our kids. And I loved my kids. I still do. As a parent, you always love your kids.

And I was going back. How many of you can just blink and go back to

something that happened years and years ago with your kids? And it's a great thing the Lord has given us

in these minds that he equipped us with. But I was thinking about blowing bubbles on our back porch.

We lived in Kansas City at the time and we had a little patio, literally like a patio, because if you put a table on it, you couldn't eat at the

table. But it was a patio. So what the builder called a patio, like 10 by 10 or something, what

came with the house. But we were out there and we had a little blue, Jonathan had a little blue
