I like to leave you with the good news story and use one that qualifies a Michigan boy

protecting his sister. The boy is only 13 years old.

The little sister's eight. Let me taste them.

If you don't teach your little boys to protect their sister,

my mother used to always say when I was growing up

that, you know, for a man, the way you treat your mother is how you treat your wife

and, you know, women know that. And I look back now and I say, I think she was just trying to

get us to be nicer to her and do what we're told. But I thought it was pretty clever.

I recognized it early on, right? You can't con a con man here.

Popo said this eight-year-old little girl was in her backyard.

And this 17-year-old third came in to try to abduct her.

And the little girl's brother, who's 13, so he's quite a bit younger than the 17-year-old

who's trying to abduct his little sister. He goes David and Goliath

and fires at him with his slingshot, bust him in the head and the chest

and the turd ran off. Now, I can't think of a better good news story

to send you home or end your podcast or conclude our time together on this particular occasion

than that one. Can you? The story comes to us from WBNS TV in Michigan.

Michigan State Police are applauding the fearless active bravery by her older teenage brother.

They say armed with just a slingshot. He was able to stop a scary situation from becoming far

worse. They say the suspect admitted to planning on beating the little girl severely.

He really is the one that saved his sister's life from something seriously bad happening to her.
