Proof is an investigative true crime podcast co-hosted by Susan Simpson of Undisclosed and

Jacinda Davis of Evil Lives Here.

Proof is one of those podcasts that's actually making a real difference in the real world.

Here's what I mean by that.

In Proof, season one, Susan Simpson, she's an attorney, and co-host Jacinda Davis, investigated a case in Rome, Georgia, and they actually uncovered new evidence that was powerful enough that it led to the release of two innocent men.

These men were just teenagers when they were falsely convicted of a completely made-up

conspiracy to murder their friend. Daryl Lee Clark and Kane Joshua Story were sentenced to life

in prison for the murder of their friend Brian Bowling when they were just 18 years old. 25 years later, and this was just on December 8, 2022, Clark and Story were finally freed from prison,

all based on evidence that Susan and Jacinda uncovered and revealed for the Proof podcast.

So how are they planning to top that?

Well, the second season of proof is called Murder at the Warehouse.

And in this one, Susan and Jacinda traveled to Mantica, California, where they reinvestigate

the murder of 18-year-old Renee Ramos.

On June 5, 2000, Ramos's body was found buried under a pile of debris

inside the shell of a new Home Depot building. Despite tips that pointed at alternate suspects,

tips that were ignored, by the way, until now, Renee's boyfriend, 18-year-old

skateboarder Jake Silva, and Ty Lopes, the 33-year-old uncle of one of Jake's close friends.

They were arrested for her murder.
