episode. The When we left off with part one of the Lisa Ziger case. I was talking about the FBI profile of the

killer. Remember I said that the Massachusetts cops talked over the profile and possible

suspects with the FBI guys. Detective Macy was quoted in the July 1996 Republicans saying,

quote, we are investigating two people at this time that fit the profile.

I believe these were guys who were already on their radar, but who for some reason moved up

the list when they checked numerous boxes in the profile. One of these was Ronald Harrison

of Agawam. Harrison's lawyer confirmed that he had been questioned about possible involvement

in the Lisa Ziegert homicide.

So who was this guy Harrison? Ronald C. Harrison was a mechanic and high school classmate of

Lisa's. In 1995, he carjacked, kidnapped, assaulted, and raped a 22-year-old woman,

leaving Breakers, billiards, and brew in West Springfield. He forced his way into

the victim's caddy and raped her in an Agawam alley. She managed to escape and he torched the vehicle.

Of course, the violent random attack on a young woman in downtown Agawam rang tones of Lisa Zeger.

And Harrison was known to have access to an SUV that could have been the one

seen entering the woods on the night that Lisa was killed. I was kind of horrified to read that
