So I think so many people, when it comes to life, when it comes to pain, it's like in our humanity,

we think these anchors with closed lines and chlorox bottles and sand will hold, they won't.

We've been talking all about that. Yeah, you can kind of feel that connection once we begin to talk. It's like, it's like that mustard-based barbecue connection or

something. I don't hear a Southern drawl. No, you have a great voice. You have a great,

you have a great intonation and all that. When I talk with my Carolina buddies, I go south really quick.

She does. This may be the greatest bond we'll ever have right off the bat because I am not, I'm a person that when someone says to me, you have a southern accent, there's something in my spirit that bristles because I feel like, one, I haven't earned it.

My father moved us all over the United States. And so my accent is so confused that they wouldn't

even know where to cling to. But also, I just can't claim the southern accent. I'm not from here

originally. And so I appreciate you saying, I don't really have an accent because I think to myself,

The other thing about it is you brought up the barbecue. It's so funny. When my husband and I started

dating, he brought me to North Carolina. And I had grown up on Texas barbecue. And so Texas barbecue, as you know, is a lot different from North Carolina barbecue.

And so he said, oh, I know you love barbecue.

I can't wait to take you this place that I love.

So we went to this barbecue place, sat down, and I ordered a barbecue sandwich.

And when I got the barbecue sandwich, it came the way that Carolinians do barbecue, at least
