First up, Lisa Brennan Jobs talks to us about her debut book, A Memoir Small Fry.

Small Fry is a coming-of-age story about a girl growing up in the early days of Silicon Valley.

The daughter of two very young parents, including a father, Steve Jobs, who initially refuses to acknowledge paternity,

and eventually becomes, of course, one of the richest and most celebrated people in the world.

But this book is her story.

Then in fiction, Gary Stongard will tell us about his latest novel, Lake Success, published a great acclaim in early September.

Plus, we'll talk about what we and the wider world are reading.

So, Lisa Brennan Jobs, a debut memoirist.

This book has gotten rave reviews.

It's been out for a while now.

It came out on September 4th.

How does it feel so far?

My son has had most of his life while this book has been out.

It feels amazing to put a book of your entire life out to other people and then to realize that it's become their book now.

So people come back to me with reactions to the book saying like, it's about this or it's about that.

No, no, it's not quite.

And then I think it's your book now, even though it's my family and my embarrassing stories and my life.

So it's been gratifying and I feel sometimes like I'm on the outside of it watching other people have very strong reactions to my family.

And so in that sense it's been a joyful experience and also kind of a frightening experience.
