Happy Memorial Day with gratitude for those who have laid their lives down in the history

of our country and hope you have an amazing Memorial Day weekend or if you skip church to

be camping or something and you're watching this or listening to this down the road, we're

glad you're here as well.

We are in a season that we've called the River Wild, the River Wild.

We're getting in that raft with Merrill Street and we're kicking Kevin Bacon to the curb

and we are discovering the power of the gauntlet.

We're discovering how the surging, racing flood waters of a river in the midst of rapid

season is like the grand adventure of following Jesus.

And we're in John chapter 7 this week because we come to the last message in this series

with the actual text that originally inspired this series.

Though we saved it for the end, it was the passage of scripture that they got originally

just grabbed me with and had me just focus us on rivers all this spring.

It's been amazing, hasn't it?
