Summary

Radiation today is used to treat a variety of illnesses. But we also know how dangerous it can be and the impact it can have when individuals are exposed. How do we know that? In the 1920's, a group of factory workers suffered torturous illnesses and death due to their exposure to radium. Was this accidental or intentional? And how did this story make an impact that still lives on today?
