where we talk about the upcoming game for the Detroit Lions and what they will need to do in order to get a win this upcoming week. I'm your host, Miko, join once again with my co-host Morgan Cannon. And Morgan, the Lions are coming off a less than stellar performance against the Minnesota Vikings on Christmas Day. Probably ruined a good amount of people's Christmas, but to be fair, it wasn't just their performance. Netflix didn't have a great showing. The halftime show wasn't all that great. There's a number of things that we can kind of shift blame on to. So we are definitely going to talk a little bit about, you know, kind of some of the standouts from that game. We're going to definitely look ahead to the Lions game against the Chicago Bears. Even though there's not a lot on the line in terms of playoffs or anything like that, there's still some points to definitely take and look towards for that game for what the Lions may want to achieve in this upcoming week.

And last but not least, we're also going to be talking about what the Lions need to do in the off season, looking ahead to what they need to do when we're talking about the draft, when we're talking about free agency, when we're talking about expiring contracts, when we're talking about coaching staff. So with that said, Morgan, let's kick things off by just what were some of your biggest takeaways from this loss to the Vikings? Like, what stood out to you as like issue number one if we had to label it as that?

2:22.1

Man, where do you, where do you begin?

2:24.0

But yeah, I'm excited to do this episode with you, you know, preview the Bears game,

2:28.2

but also kind of set the table for the offseason.

2:30.1

But to begin with how they looked against the Vikings, it was a letdown man. But at the

2:35.7

end of the day, I wasn't that surprised just because once I saw like the protection issues and

2:42.0

everything like right out of the gate, I was like, oh, this is what this is what day, this is what kind of day it's

2:47.5

going to be. And then kudos to Brian Flores and Minnesota's coaching staff too on the defensive side because they did some.

2:53.9

Whereas that first matchup against the lions, they mugged the, you know what, out of the A gaps and had like a lot of interior pressure that that was kind of their game plan.

3:03.7

This time they switched it up and they heated up those edges like crazy.

3:09.6

So being, you know, and you you know we can get into it but i get the the hesitation was starting a younger player like kingsley
