The holiday season continues.

That means Zach Clark back in the co-anchors chair, Justin Rogers, all the way in the

Bay Area, not exactly San Francisco, but don't tell them that.

Justin, a very interesting game out on the West Coast.

Lions win 40 to 34.

They come back from down eight at halftime.

And you and I were talking before the red light went on.

It was just a very odd game.

It didn't feel certainly like the NFL had scripted it.

I know that it's not real the script, maybe.

But, you know, when the season was,

when the schedule was made,

this was supposed to be the one not next week

and uh the center of the moment it met nothing well kind of maybe no i i i when this when i knew well

you know the opponents kind of well in advance um will we'll know the lions opponents for the

the 20-25 season

as soon as the final whistle blows next week.

I really thought this was what the NFL was going to choose

for their season opening Sunday football game.

And obviously, they chose the Rams,

and that was a fine matchup.

But like the golf Stafford angle to me was played out.
