I don't usually want to talk about rule proposals, but there are two, maybe even three, I suppose,

that are, I think,

very interesting to the NFL fan and one that I could not agree with more. And both the two of

them come from the Lions, actually. How about the Lions stepping up and getting involved?

So the first one, and I can't imagine that there's an NFL fan that wouldn't be in favor of this,

and that is that you seed the playoff teams by your actual record. Now, I don't know, I didn't read, I didn't

finish the article. My hope would be that the only benefit of having the divisions, if you win

your division, you're automatically a playoff team. But that also means if you go eight and nine and you win your crappy division, you're not

going to be a four seed.

You should be the seven.

So the lines are proposing that you do, that's got to pass, no?

All right, so this is the time of year where some of this stuff takes place where teams do

these proposals because owners meetings are coming.

And they're reacting to things that have happened over the years.

They want to see whether they can get some of these things changed.

They need 75% of the vote.
