I'm Justin Rogers, joined, as always, for the midweek edition by Will Birchfield.

And Will, before we get into the Lions game, I think we should touch base on what happened this weekend.

You know, it was an almost uneventful wildcard weekend that turned into, you know, an

eventful one in terms of how it impacted the Lions.

You know, what were your biggest takeaways from the first round of NFL playoff games?

That I believe I did say on this podcast that the Bucks commander's game would make for the best

theater.

At least I said that somewhere.

But I do know I said that.

And that that lived up to the billing on Sunday night.

And that I think the Lions ended up with the most favorable

matchup they could have among the four teams they were slated to potentially play.

And they're in a good spot now on Saturday night.

No team is easy fodder at this time of year.

But when you look at the teams that could have played three teams,

they have seen a lot of and that have seen a lot of them over the past year, you got to feel

pretty good about the commanders coming here with a rookie quarterback who hasn't been in games

or in environments like this in the NFL and with the defense that, you know, for this lion's

offense seems pretty ripe. So my takeaway was that the defense that, you know, for this lion's offense, seems pretty ripe.

So my takeaway was that the Lions, while they obviously would never tell you they were rooting

for one team over the other, ended up with an advantageous matchup in the commanders.
