What's going on Lions fans?

Fortunately, the Lions are officially on their buy week, so there will not be a preview

that we're doing of this game, of a game this week, but this is an ideal opportunity for

us to kind of do a little bit of a look back, as well as a look forward for the Lions

as far as

the season has gone so morgan and i are basically going to do just that we're going to recap the last

seven weeks of the season and then as well as talk about some of the things that that fans should be

looking forward to once the lions come out of the by morgan first and foremost how you feeling my guy

feeling really good man i feel like we're at almost like the realistic best case scenario heading into the buy. So that makes me happy. You know what I mean? Like we're sitting in a pretty good spot. Go ahead. Yeah, I think so. I think if you were to ask anybody before the season that started when the schedule was first released, like if I told you that the lines were going to go into the buy five and two, I think everybody would have been jumping up and down because I think a lot of people would have even assumed like, okay, you probably dropped a game to Baltimore. You might have dropped a game to Kansas City, but you won all the other ones. And you actually were able to pick up a pretty significant win at the time against Baltimore, who still had Lamar Jackson and still

had Derek Henry and all of their, you know, pieces offensively. They were missing some pieces defensively, but still, it was a pretty big win at that time. And the losses that they have, I mean, we'll get into, like, let's just say, we'll get into all of that and a little bit more as we kind of get into the rest of the podcast. But first and foremost, we got to talk about the Lions' most recent win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

24 to 9 win on Monday Night Football that did, in fact, help them get to 5 and 2 on the season and probably their biggest win of the season, right, Morgan? I would say so. You know, like in retrospect, now the Baltimore win doesn't look as impressive, although anytime you beat Lamar Jackson, it's a reason to celebrate in my book.

And inside a Ford Field, if you're new to the podcast, I go to every game. I've taken Miko before. I've had season tickets for a long time now. And it was loud in there from the jump.

I was like, okay, this is what kind of like, you know, we scored. And then that first defensive

series and like the crowd is really good now. We have a more season crowd, which I'm thankful for.

Like as soon as the offense gets in the huddle, they turn it up. Like you can, you can immediately

feel it. And it does take, sometimes it does take opposing teams a long time to get out of the huddle. And I feel like it's because the quarterback's having to scream, you know what I mean, to try to get it across. Because it's like 110 decibels, pretty, pretty quick, which is loud. I think a jet engine is like 120. So it's pretty loud. And it was a really

cool atmosphere and just a really impressive win, man. If you would have told me that the bucks were

going to score nine points and the secondary was just going to go berser mode and play out of their

minds with like PbUs and interceptions and the like i would have told you

what have you been smoking you know where where did you get it from because that just isn't that
