Mary Rosenblum attended the prestigious Clarion Writers West Workshop in 1988, where she sold her first SS story to Asimov's

magazine editor Gardner Dozwa. She's published multiple novels, was a Hugo and

Nebula finalist, and received a lot of critical acclaim for her fiction.

She lives in rural Western Oregon where she is a licensed pilot and flies a small plane to as many cool and faraway places as she can.
