In today's episode, I will share all my growth hacks for getting high-quality links from

help a reporter out, better known as Harrow. This is probably the most used link building tactic by bloggers. It is also the tactic that is

most incorrectly executed. A study by Jane Tabesnik found that only 24% of Harrow pitches were rated as

good and 45% were rated as poor with the the rest being average. A listed hero query from a

reporter gets between 25 to 100 responses. The bigger the news outlet or blog, the closer will be to

100 responses that you'll be competing against. With up to 100 people competing for every

backlink, you need to know exactly how to use Harrow so that you can stand out among the

crowd. Let me briefly explain what Harrow is for those that don't already know. It's an

online service made for journalists and blogs in need of information from a source, which is you.

Over 55,000 journalists list queries on Harrow for sources to answer.

A query lists the journalist's name, media outlet, deadline, and the information they need a source to answer.

Harrow was originally a Facebook group that started in 2008.

It was later turned into an email list of 800,000 sources that are sent all the new queries from journalists three times a day, Monday through Friday.
