Summary

Welcome to the first ever Liner Notes edition of the Great Albums podcast, a semi-monthly version of the show where Bill and Brian get to relax a little, read some listener emails, make corrections, and possibly chat about some new topics. In this episode we read some listener emails about loving Boston as a kid, giving the podcast a second chance, some top songs of 2017, guests helping the podcast get some context, and some cool local bands from other parts of the world. 0:30.6	Now, some of you may be wondering, hey, isn't this normally bonus song Thursday? In fact, right as we were recording this episode, we actually got a tweet from a listener at Kuna Petunia.

0:43.6	And this is Christopher Kuna.
0:45.4	I'm assuming that's how it's pronounced when it's rhymed with Petunia.

0:51.5	But he tweeted at us, no bonus song Thursday this week, and alas, bonus song Thursday
0:57.8	is no more. I guess we didn't really give it a proper goodbye and send off. We just kind of did a
1:05.0	final bonus song Thursday of 2017 and then took a week off, and now we're back, but there's no more bonus song Thursdays.
1:13.3	Now, I'm not saying there's never going to be a bonus song Thursday again if Brian and I
1:17.4	feel like sitting down and talking about a song that is related, at least tangentially,
1:23.7	to the artists that we're talking about that week. We can always do so if we want to.
