Welcome to the Great Albums podcast. I'm Bill. And I told everybody very obliquely during our best of 2019

episodes that I would probably pop in and do an episode about what I was listening to in 2019,

because there were a few times we hinted at that my favorite album

from 2019 actually came out in 2018. And really what I just mean is my listening habits

of 2019. Not necessarily the best albums that came out in 2019, because I've listened to a few of them and I'll talk about

them but at the same time I don't know I've just kind of moved around and listened to a bunch of

different stuff so you know I just wanted to come in here and do a quick episode basically talking

about that stuff because why not i've got nothing else to do

this evening it is a rainy sunday in december and i'm just like all right why not let's do this

so i'm not really sure where to start i guess uh 2019 just overall it's been an odd year uh we

ended regular episodes of the podcast back in July,

and we've had a few here and there since then. And thank you all for still tuning in to listen,

because from what I can tell, people haven't really gone away. Everyone stayed subscribed

based on our numbers. They're pretty much the same as what

we normally see with each episode. So I'm really excited to see that, that people actually

give a crap about us, I guess. I don't know. Thank you guys for doing that. It's really nice.

But we did take a welcome break from the podcast.

The last six months have been, I don't know, eventful.

I've played a lot of shows with my band Fake Pockets.

Brian's played a lot of shows too with his band The Extensions and also solo.

And I don't know what else I did.

I played a lot of Tetris, that's for sure.
