So 2027 linebacker Ellis McGaskin just committed to the University of Notre Dame happened minutes ago.

Now, he is going to be-

supposed to happen about 40 minutes ago.

So we're kind of like, okay, what else can we talk about?

But Ellis McGaskin has announced his commitment.

He is now the second overall commitment in the class of 2027. He joins Sean Kraft, who is the long snapper. He is, right now, I believe he is a three-star recruit by 247 ESPN.

Rivals has him a top hunter player. Yeah. That's what matters. Anyone has him on as a three stars out of their freaking mind. He's number 78 in the country by rivals. yeah that's what matters anyone has them on as a three stars out of their freaking

second commit overall in the class another big pickup I mean it goes back to what we talked about in the first conversation. They're recruiting in such a high level now that they're starting to be able to look down the road and start, you know, pointing their attention to high caliber recruits. And this is a high caliber recruit for the 2027 class. So Brian, Ellis McGaskin commitment. It's a good one. Oh, it's a big one, guys.

I mean, this is one of those ones where we talk about when you fill up and you, and you meet

your needs and your numbers at a position, it's really helpful because you can start focusing

early on the 2007 class. And Notre Dame made a decision about about a month or so ago that they were good at linebacker. There was two players they really liked. They liked Tank King and Talanoa Ely, and they knew they weren't going to get both of those guys. So they were just like, instead of just, we don't need a third. They were just recruiting those guys because they're really good players and they're like, you don't say no to talent. but this is one where you looked at and said, okay, there's nobody else like that on the board.
