Welcome recruits to AC12. Today you will be briefed via an exciting episode of the

pilot TV podcast, a spoiler special podcast no less for line of duty season five.

This is D.I. James Diar of AC 12 accompanied by

D.S. Boyd Hilton and DCI. Terry L. White. Over the course of this interview we

shall examine the evidence laid out in the dossier in front of you marked Exhibit A, the fifth and most recent series of Jed Mercurio's

Line of Duty. Through this dossier we shall prove without a shadow of a doubt that the bent coppers revealed within did willfully engage in misconduct while in a public office.

But before we get into that, we'd like to present Exhibit B.

A tape recording conducted prior to the airing of said series of line of duty

which should shed some light upon the matter at hand.

The last series of a lot of duty ended with that huge array of characters all up on the whiteboards.

Yeah, as if you'd been planning this whole thing from the season one series on one.

Was that the case or have you comeingly evolved as

times gone on it's kind of evolved as it's gone on there was some initial

planning but I think it's very hard to map everything out in advance in a way that

will continue to be surprising.

And so it's really a process that has a couple of different components.

There's the forward planning where I know if we're lucky enough to do more series that's something that we can

return to and then there's the retrospective version the reverse engineering of picking up things from the past that are relevant to a story happening in the present.

So do you have in your mind a fairly extremely capacity to remember all of the strands of your

own stories? Or do you go back, do you go back and check? Literally do you go back and check?
